This is not true! Our hairpins are suitable for all hair types as long as the length reaches the middle of the neck.
This size guide will help you choose the right pin shape and length for your hair.
Whether your hair is straight, soft, wavy or curly, only the volume of your bun (small, medium, large) will guide the choice of the right hook.
Our metal hair jewels come in two shapes: curved and straight.
The curved shape will correspond to a hair going from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the back for a normal, thick or very thick hair but also for a hair a little thinner according to its length. The volume of the bun should be medium to large. To better meet the needs of each woman, it comes in 2 lengths: short (10 cm) and long (12 cm).
The straight shape will correspond to fine to very fine hair with a small to medium volume. There is only one length: short (9 cm) sufficient to hold a small bun.
Use the information below to estimate the volume of your bun which will determine the size of the hair jewel you need.

Suitable for:
→ Thick to very thick hair: Length shoulder blades to lower back.
→ Normal thickness hair: Length middle of the back to lower back.

Suitable for:
→ Thick hair: Maximum length below the neck to the shoulders.
→ Normal thickness hair: Length shoulders to shoulder blades maximum.
→ Slightly thinner hair: Length shoulder blade to mid-back maximum.

Small to medium bun
Suitable for:
→ Normal (but not thick) hair: Up to the nape of the neck maximum.
→ Fine hair: From the middle of the neck to below the shoulders.
→ Very fine hair: From the nape of the neck to the shoulder blades.
